Pastel Demonstration for Next Meeting

 

Our next WAA membership meeting will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 6.30pm at the NHC Arboretum.  Our presenter will be Bonnie Rogers who teaches pastel figure drawing at the Cameron Museum School.  Her work is figurative and she also enjoys landscape painting en plein air.

 

Bonnie will demo her beautiful pastel work, doing a live figure painting.  She is excited to share her passion for pastel painting.  Bonnie has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts from UNC-Wilmington.  She worked as a graphic designer and is an award-winning artist and teacher in pastel and oils.

 

For our March meeting the presenter will be Kelly Starbuck of Salt Studio Photography.  As usual it will be held on the second Thursday of the month, March 10th, at 6.30 pm at the NHC Arboretum.
