Silver Arts

 

The SilverArts is a statewide Art Competition for adults 50 and over. 

It is part of the Senior Games by the Sea which also includes a variety of athletic events.

The Wilmington Art Association is participating by sponsoring two of the four categories of the SilverArts, the Visual Arts 2D and the Heritage Arts 3D.  There is also the Literary Arts and Performing Arts.

 

·         Fee is $15 to enter

·         5 pieces of art work may be entered but ONLY 3 in one sub-category---

                     ex: 3 in oil and 2 in acrylic

·         Bin work will be accepted--10 pieces for 2D and 5 pieces for 3D ( 3D additional pieces considered as “bin work”)

·         No uploading of images

·         Judging will take place in each category separately

·         1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd price winners will have the opportunity to go to the state finals.

·         Exhibition and Sale  
Three days open to the public giving you an opportunity to sell your creations.

·         Reception and Award Ceremony

·         Deadline to enter April 25^th
