PASTEL DEMONSTRATION for Next Meeting
Our next General Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 8th, 2015. We will meet as usual at 6.30pm. The meeting will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 16 North 16th Street - that is at the junction of Market and 16th Streets. Parking is around the back of the church off Princess. PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE OF VENUE!
Our speaker will be Bonnie Rogers who teaches pastel figure drawing at the Cameron Museum School. Bonnie will give a demonstration of her beautiful pastel work and will demo a live figure painting in pastel. She is excited to share her passion with like-minded artists. Bonnie has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Arts from UNC-Wilmington. She worked as a graphic designer and is an award-winning artist and teacher in pastel and oils.
Her work is figurative, and she also enjoys landscape painting en plein air.
Let your friends know - and remind them of the venue change. This change is just for October's meeting. The meeting in November will be at NHC Arboretum, when we will welcome Justine Ferreri, well-known Wilmington clay artist.
