Call for Artists
Cape Fear Studios in Fayetteville is looking for art for a 2D competition and exhibit that will be held in July. Images for entries must be received by May 6. Info and prospectus found here.
Art for the Arboretum
Paintings, photography and fiber art of the Arboretum Gardens by seventeen WAA artists are on display and for sale at the Arboretum for the next three months. The art may be seen in the lobby of the main office building and the hallway leading to the gift shop. The Arboretum will receive a 20% commission on all sold pieces.
The participating artists are Karen Burr, Eleanor Davin, Alouise Fenstermacher, Ellie Gillette, Roslyn Hancock, Anita Jacques, Jan Koch, Ann Lees, Gretchen Murden, Judy Pawinski, Lori Joy Peterson, Mary E. Smith, Mary Trowbridge, Barbara Tuzzeo, Emily Vassar, Maria E. Williams and Karen Masterson.

Hi Everyone:
Twenty of my black and white photographs will be exhibited starting Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Arts Council of Wilmington, 221 N. Front St., Wilmington 28401, and continuing through Monday, June 22. An opening reception will be held on May 22 from 6-8PM. The theme of the exhibit is “Simple Compositions.” Hope you can make it to the opening or sometime during the month!

Janet is a member of WAA, Franklin Square Gallery, and Oak Island Art Guild. She is a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and was just appointed to the Leland Cultural Arts Council. She is presenting her Art Work in Watercolor and Mixed Media. She is a colorist who approaches Nature with an imaginative view.
