Last reminder for Silver Arts call to artists deadlines...

SilverArts - LAST CALL for Artists DEADLINE to enter---Tuesday, April 15

This is a Wilmington Art Association sponsored event  for all 2D and 3D artists over the age of 50.  SilverArts is a state wide Art Competition with an opportunity for you to also Promote and Sell your creations.  Winners will be eligible and will have an opportunity to go to the State Finals in September. 

·       Total entry fee for any category is $12.00

·      Images of your art work will only be required if you go on to the State competition in Raleigh, which will be held in September.

·      5 pieces of art work can be entered into Visual Arts and Heritage Arts.

However you can only enter 3 pieces in any one sub-category---

ex: 3 mixed media and 2 oils

·      Each sub-category---oils, acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, woodwork, pottery, etc. will be judged separately.--- 2D judge will be Todd Carignan

                                                       3D judge will be Brian Evans

NOTE:  1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place award winners will be qualified

              to go to the NC state competition in September.           

·      Private Reception and Award Ceremony for artists and guests

·      Exhibition and Sale for 3 days

·      Location for the SilverArts will be @the ArtWorks, 200 Willard St.,

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Friday, May 9^th and Saturday, May 10^th    10:00AM – 4:00PM              Sunday, May11th 12:00noon – 4:00PM---Live Entertainment 1:00PM - 3:00PM
