***SPECIAL GALLERY INFORMATION***
The WAA Gallery will not be open on Fourth Friday in October due to St. Jude's church reserving the building (for the past 10 years) for their special event. The Gallery exhibit for October 16th - November 20th will still be set up, but artists will only need to add their art information on SignUpGenius so that hang tags can be created.
If you exhibited in the eARTh Inspired show and would like to leave 1-2 art pieces to exhibit in the Gallery for the Oct.–Nov. exhibit please resubmit your art information on SignUpGenius exactly as it was listed for the eARTh Inspired show so that new hang tags will not need to be created.
To exhibit in the WAA Gallery go to www.wilmingtonart.org <http://www.wilmingtonart.org/> login at the top right to read the Registration Terms and CLICK to sign up on SignUpGenius.
For the November-December exhibit the artwork will need to be changed out, but again, artists will only need to add their art information on SignUpGenius so that hang tags can be created. On November 22nd the Gallery will participate in Fourth Friday from 6:00-9:00.
The refreshments will be provided by the Gallery committee.
On December 18th artists will pick up their artwork and the Gallery will CLOSE.
Thank you to all who have helped to make the Gallery as successful as it could possibly be in its current location. We all know the importance of
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!

Hi Artists! The education committee is excited to have Phil Garrett present a two day acrylic painting workshop Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2, 2013 at the Arboretum classroom.
This is an amazing opportunity to work with a beautiful painter, print maker and mixed media artist. As Golden Working Artist representative, Phil is able to provide insights to the versatility and depth of acrylic paint. I highly recommend this workshop for any oil painters out there who like many pros (John Poon to name one) who have converted to the acrylic medium. Phil will focus on using acrylics as if they were oils and the paint is provided by Golden!!! It's a win-win since you get to experiment and try it without investing in another set of paints.
Please see flyer attached, registration is available on the WAA website: www.wilmingtonart.org.
