Starting in September, the general meetings that are held on the second Thursday of the month will now begin at 6 pm with social time, and then the meeting and program will follow. It should be over by 8:30 pm. The Board hopes that this will be more convenient and will work well for everyone.
Betty Brown Workshop
BETTY BROWN has space for 3 more students in her afternoon classes in watercolor or oil, taught in her studio. The classes are small enough to work with varying levels in either medium. Please let her know if you want to sign up for a 10-week session. She will begin on Sept. 12, on the Monday after Labor Day weekend. She will have to skip October 24 due to a previous commitment. The class will finish on November 21, the Monday before Thanksgiving. Tuition is $320 for the 10 lessons. Classes are held in her studio at 1917 Fenwick Place (near the Mall). The classes will begin at 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM. She will send out directions to the studio and materials lists after filling the class. Arboretum Show
Registration will end August 19.
