Spring Show Info

 

Our annual Spring Art Show, an important part of Wilmington's Azalea Festival, is right around the corner!

The deadline for submission is midnight March 2, 2015.

 

However, since we will not be able to pay the entry fee and submit images of our artwork at the same time, it is recommended that, if you intend to enter the show, the entry fee be paid now, even if you have not decided what you will be entering. After you have received confirmation of your payment, you may then send images of your art. But do not wait until the last minute as there may be problems loading.

Randy McNamara's painting Metamorph was selected by Mr. Herb Jackson for the 2015 NC Artists Exhibition at the Betty McCain Gallery in Raleigh.

The show will run from March 1 to April 23.

Interested in Figure Drawing?

 

Artist and art teacher Deborah Bondurant is looking for people who are interested in participating in a new class that will be held at the Hannah Block Center.  Dan Beck Workshop

 

Dan Beck, juror for the Spring Art Show, will be having a three day Figurative Impressionism workshop Monday April 20 through Wednesday April 22 at his Castle Street studio. Classes will run from 9 AM to 4 PM. Space is still available. Cost for members is $400, non-members is $450, plus a $25 model fee. For more information, please go to the WAA website.
