The Latimer House sponsored a series of paint-outs at Wrightsville Beach historic properties which culminated in a one evening show last month. Now, many of these paintings plus other plein air pieces are being exhibited at the Dixie Grill, 116 Market Street, Wilmington and will be part of an Alzheimer Foundation fundraiser on the 4th Friday gallery walk, July 25.  Please stop by to see the work, and the artists and help to support this event.  

 

Artists who participated in the paint outs and are exhibiting their work at the Dixie include Jenny Wright, Gretchen Murden, Mary Austin, Mary Smith, Betty Brown, Chris Bloom, Ann Lees, Sue Bark, Janet Sessoms, Cheryl McGraw, Ann Hair, Karen Crenshaw, Barbara Jamison, Gale Smith, and Joanne Geisel. 

Items For Sale

Pictures of the dining room furniture are attached. She would like to get $500 for the entire set. She wants $125 for the Buffet by itself. Dimensional details are as follows: 

·       Oval Dining  Room Table  28” x 56” with one 12” leaf

·       Six (6) cane back chairs
·       Matching Buffet, Walnut finish--42” wide with glass front door—72” high by 16” deep. 

We also have a Maytag washer and GAS DRYER set. Both like new. We will take $500 for the set, or $300 each.
